Emily + Aaron

May 29, 2016

For Emily and Aaron's engagement session we went to the beautiful F.A. Sieberling Nature Realm. It was an absolutely perfect day to capture this stunning couple and the lush summer landscape! Emily wore a gorgeous navy summer kimono  dress from ASOS and a flower crown from Etsy. She is also a beauty blogger! Aaron and Emily are truly a perfect compliment to each other and look so striking together. It was such an honor to photograph them and we wish them all the luck in the world in their future marriage! Thank you so much for spending a very warm afternoon with us to capture such beautiful photos reminiscent of a fairy tale!

From Emily: Aaron and I met in April 2011 at a mutual friend’s graduation party. It was actually amazing we had never met before, because we had been running in the same group of friends for years – even attending some of the same parties and events! But fate had a hand in this, and we met exactly when we were supposed to. It was love at first site and we became best friends instantly. By the following year, I moved down to Columbus and we bought our first home.On June 3, 2015 I had spent a long day at work and even longer night attending evening grad school classes. It was our 4-year anniversary and Aaron was out of town for work…so I headed home, expecting a quiet night. But when I pulled up to the house, it was lit up by hundreds of candles and my heart raced. As I walked in the house, there were candles and white roses everywhere…and Aaron on one knee. We both burst into tears as my favorite person in the world asked me to spend the rest of my life with him and be his wife. We will be getting married October 3rd of this year right outside of Asheville, North Carolina in an intimate mountain wedding.
