Monica + Josh

June 19, 2016

Monica and Josh's wedding festivities took place on a warm week in June. Over the course of three days the bride and groom celebrated their love as well as their vibrant cultures, in ornate and beautiful settings splashed with decor of gold white and red. Their festivities included a harmonious blend of Chinese and Indian traditions that made for a wonderful memorable time with close family and friends. The intricate performances by the bridal party as well as the bride and groom at the reception would rival any Bollywood sequence! We wish Monica and Josh all the happiness in the world, and congratulate them on such a gorgeous event.

From The bride and groom:

Josh and Monica met in their last year of college together at The Ohio State University.  They exemplify the saying of "opposites attract," as Josh is reserved and quiet, while Monica is boisterous and friendly with all those around her.  They have lived in Maryland for the past several years, and then on one very ordinary Thursday, Josh surprised Monica with an engagement proposal at their apartment, followed by an impromptu photo shoot and dinner at her favorite local restaurant.  They held an epic two day wedding combining elements of Catholic, Chinese, and Hindu weddings, bringing together multiple cultures and a diverse group of family and friends.
